Jeffery Yeo, MRO Services Manager

 

Jeffrey is the Maintenance Repair Overhaul Services (MROS) Manager in Miltrade Technologies. He leads a team of engineers in providing maintenance, repair and overhaul of mission critical systems including managing special turnkey services. In his present role, Jeffrey manages the MROS operations and ensures the quality of the services meets the stringent requirements for system performance and user safety. He is instrumental in the setting up of MRO Services Centre, which attained Regional Service Centre status for L3Harris Technologies' HELRAS (Helicopter Long Range Active Sonar), and Repair Centre status for INDAL Technologies - Curtiss Wright's Shipboard Helicopter Traversing system. Other successful programs that Jeffery has led includes servicing of helicopter landing aids system, overhaul of medium caliber naval gun systems, sea acceptance testing of remote weapon systems, and multi-year comprehensive maintenance services.

Jeffrey joined Miltrade in 2005. He was the lead member of the engineering team that set up the avionics workshop from scratch, and developed the in-house capability to perform up to Depot Level repairs for aircraft cockpit multi-function displays. The technical excellence won the project to develop, design, test to Mil-Std 810D and 461C ruggedised displays. It went into production and delivered successfully for aircraft mission applications.

Prior to joining Miltrade, Jeffrey served in the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) for 10 years as a technical specialist in the Electrical and Instrument trade supporting maintenance and repair of F-16 and A-4SU fighter jets. Trained in troubleshooting, diagnostic testing and workshop repair of components and qualified as a provisional license aircraft engineer.

Jeffrey graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering (Hons) from University of Newcastle, Australia and holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering awarded by Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore.
