STADT Selects Miltrade To Serve Region In Marine Electric Propulsion System

STADT NAVAL - a division of Norway's STADT AS, entered into a cooperation agreement with Miltrade Technologies on 11 May 2021 to set up a presence in Singapore with aims to serve a growing need for zero emission propulsion solutions in the maritime sector.   

In this cooperation, the unique STADT Stealth electric ship propulsion technology – Lean Propulsion®, will be serviced and supported by Miltrade for the Singapore area, both for the naval ships and commercial ships.

Hallvard L. Slettevoll, President of STADT, says that Singapore has become a vital market place for the sustainable electric propulsion solutions from STADT, and that Miltrade, a highly experienced and well reputed company in Singapore with a professional work force, will enable STADT to service their existing and new customers in the territory in the very best way through this cooperation.

Richard Yong, COO of Miltrade, expressed his excitement to become a part of the STADT international network, and to service STADT's integrated ship propulsion solutions in the Asia region.  STADT`s noise-free and well proven technology fits very well to meet the market needs in Singapore now.
